Senior Business Central Functional Consultant
Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada Type: Full-Time Employment Terms: Remote
About This Role
As a Senior Business Central Functional Consultant, you'll be a key person in the implementation, configuration and delivery of Dynamics 365 projects to provide outstanding business solutions. You'll work in partnership with our clients, advising them how to use Dynamics to meet their business objectives within agreed timelines.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating workshops with a variety of users to clearly define the requirements, scope and desired outcome of the solution
- Taking ownership of consultancy, configuration engagements and solution delivery, working with peers and clients to ensure successful delivery
- Developing solution prototypes to prove solution approach and design
- Confidently presenting and articulating the business value of your proposed solution to business managers, IT, end users and executives
- Providing quality assurance across solutions and client engagements as a value-add to the quality of solutions and deliverables
- Working in partnership with clients, advising them how to use information technology thus enabling them to meet their business objectives, overcome problems and gain an understanding of high-level technical concepts
- Performing and leading user acceptance testing and conduct training sessions with the client to help with change management and adoption of the solution
- Participating in pre-sales presentations and demonstrations on an ad hoc basis
Qualifications
The ideal candidate's qualifications should match or exceed the following:
- Extensive commercial experience in installation, configuration and delivery of Dynamics Business Central / NAV — preferably supply chain experience
- 5+ years experience from a similar position; ensuring that each solution is properly scoped, designed, implemented and tested to meet our client's business needs
- Confidence working directly with clients, and aptitude for listening, communicating and understanding
- A hunger for knowledge with the passion to learn about the latest innovations in the industry, which you will enjoy sharing with the wider team
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively present and defend point of view
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a focus on delivering high quality solutions — every time
- Driven, flexible and client focused — you understand the importance of working with clients and the EFOQUS team to deliver great solutions, and you know how to communicate
- You understand you are not done before both sides are happy, and you know when to be flexible and when to be firm
